Caricatures

Need a cool caricature of a loved one or perhaps the family pet. Need a special gift that shows you really care? A caricature is a personalised and lasting gift… not just another one of those meaningless mass-produced items.

At Wicked Worx we can draw anyone or anything in any imaginable situation, ranging from the cute to the absolutely ridiculous. If you have problems coming up with an idea, no problem…we can suggest something that is sure to tickle the old funny bone. All we need from you is several good photos of the intended victim or victims. These can be E-mailed to us or posted through the mail and returned with the completed caricature when done.

Note - I must emphasize that these photos show a good likeness to the person being drawn, after all…this is the only information we have to create a caricature that bears a good resemblance to that person. So if you send us a blurry old photo of a work colleague who is drunk and asleep in the corner of some dingy room …it is going to be very hard for us to draw a good likeness of that person in their present-day glory. Remember…clear photos and a brief description of that person and the scene you would like to have them in. If you have troubles coming up with ideas we can make suggestions. It helps if you make a short list of their loves and hobbies, then between us we can create a theme that's both relevant and funny!

All works are done in black and greyscale inks. They are quite detailed and well drawn … definitely not one of those caricatures quickly penned in at your local markets. The price reflects this. They are a quality artwork.

Price list and sizes

My preferred size is 400 x 500mm (16 x 20") People often request a smaller drawing but I find that this larger size allows for plenty of detail and extras in the caricature.
The cost of this size caricature is $250 including GST and postage to anywhere in Australia.
